Health safety
-
Please reschedule the appointment if experiencing any symptoms of illness (of course I'll do the same).
-
I wear a mask when working with someone supine (face-up). If you come in wearing a mask, I'll put mine on for the entire time.
-
I use a silicone covering for the face cradle that I sanitize between each use, and cover it with a clean face cradle linen washed with free & clear detergent, borax and hot water.
-
I have an air purifier in the room with a HEPA H13 filter changed every 6-9 months.
-
Between appointments I run extra ventilation in the room.
-
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns as your health safety is priority.

Do you do house calls?
Yes, if stairs or travel present a hurdle, in the Eugene/Springfield area. It's an extra $20 +2$/mile for this service. Please call, text or email to book house calls.
Do you take insurance?
No, I offer sliding scale and donation-based options instead, but I can provide detailed receipts so you can get reimbursed by your insurance company (call to confirm this is possible with yours). If your insurance covers Massage or Manual Therapy benefits (CPT/LMT codes 97124 and 97140) I only charge $25/unit (15mins) and $30/unit, respectively.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, PayPal, Venmo, checks and debit/credit cards
Is there anything I should do BEFORE a bodywork session?
It's good to arrive well hydrated, to help flush out toxins released during the session and reduce soreness afterwards. Also, for Bowen therapy, please wear or bring comfortable clothes (no thick jeans). And please, no perfumes, colognes, or fragrances including essential oils as there are some clients with allergic reactions.
I'll send a reminder text or email the day before your appointment with all the info to arrive with ease.
Is there anything I should or should not do AFTER a bodywork session?
For the rest of your day drink lots of water, try to avoid being in one position for long periods, strenuous exercise, chaotic environments and other forms of bodywork.
For the next few days stay in tune with your body as best you can, continue to develop/refine a self-care regimen for home (I can help with this post-session) and please drop a line if you have any concerns or questions.
I love to hear how you're doing a few days after a session, and if something is not quite right I can usually squeeze you in for a free 10-15 minutes to correct it.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please cancel by 8 AM the day of your appointment to avoid a cancellation fee. Of course, the more notice the better (24 hours or more is greatly appreciated). After 8am same-day cancellations will incur half the charge of services booked, and no-shows will incur the full charge of services booked.
